So you are looking to build your own website / web pages and need to find an HTML editor for your content and design creation? I am sure you will find everything you are looking for in this post. One of these tools will appeal to your needs and you will be building websites in no time. You may want to look at some free HTML templates to get your started with your website design process.

Having worked in website design for the last 10 years i can recommend 2 of my favourite editors, and i can only recommend these two editors because i have used them during this time and i simply can not vouch for the other HTML editors mentioned below.

Dreamweaver HTML Editor / Website Design Software

I have used Adobe Dreamweaver as my primary website design / development application and can highly recommend it, it does cost you a little but the biggest benefit of this software was that when i was a beginner I found it really easy to use and then when I became more advanced it had all the added features also. I guess the software caters for all individuals no matter if you are in an advanced web design sector or if you are only a beginner looking to get started.

Coffee Cup HTML Editor

The other website design / HTML Editing software  is Coffee Cup HTML Editor. I used coffee sup during the time i was studying for my BCS degree and found this software to be just great for learning how to code in HTML. The best part was that it was either free at the time or really cost efficient for the value you get out of it. Coffe Cup features HTML code view editor with WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) design view. Includes built-in FTP, drag-and-drop capabilities, XHTML conversion tool and support for PHP and other programming languages.
